In collaboration with çakSTÜDYO

KTV an transdisciplinary project presented in the format of a fictional television channel. The project explores a protest against (auto)censorship regarding our emotional burden. This research uses television broadcasting as a medium to offer a glimpse into the world of Kerâpi, a constantly laughing
elusive entity.

The Theology Program titled Müşlerin Hatırına focuses on exploring concepts such as belief, ritual and knowledge systems with the body.

The performance was an output of a six-day workshop, led by choreographer Sude İnce, and accompanied by Işıl Şimşek (stage designer) and Lena (Aleyna Torun) (sound designer), brought together artists from various disciplines in an experimental process of collectively constructing what repeats in space or time. The creative dancers; considering both kerâpis memory and the body as a ritual space, brought their own forms of expression together in a common choreographic narrative. This unity which was produced  through the encounters of body, movement, mask, sound and space regarding the dimension in which kerâpi breathes, shared its existence with the audience by leaping into our world at çakSTÜDYO based in İstanbul.
